We have been predominantly involved in Steel mill, Oil Refinery and Pulp and Paper Mill construction and maintenance services over the years.
The founder and Director of the company – Harry Fouwler, has been in the heavy engineering /construction industry both here and overseas for the past 35 years.
At the commencement of the business in 2000, we were fortunate enough to be heavily involved in the construction of a $450 million Pulp and Paper Mill in Tumut, NSW for Visy Industries.
The project for us consisted of approximately 100,000 man hours over a 12 month period, in the fabrication & installation of both Mild & Stainless Steel pipework and structural steel access platforms, handrails etc.
I would like add here that those 100,000 man hours were ‘Lost Time Injury Free’ hours. We are of course very proud of this achievement and we remain committed to safety in the work place – ‘Zero Tolerance to unsafe acts and work practices’.
Today we are and continue to be the preferred contractor to OneSteel Sydney Steel Mill, with a license agreement to supply skilled labour and equipment for the day to day repairs and maintenance of their plant. We have an enviable record of over 350,000 LTI Free hours on their site and continue to build on that daily.
Our new work shop in Camden NSW has been operating now since June 2012. The work shop is well equipped to cater for any metal work fabrication that may come in the door – be it large or small, we can accommodate you. Structural steel and Pipe work are our specialties – whether it be in MS, Stainless Steel or Aluminium.
We hold a large number of monthly accounts with major steel suppliers, galvanising and coating plants, fastener suppliers, gas and gear, transport, access and cranage hire etc. We also have available a fully equipped service truck for all your onsite repairs, modification and installation needs.
We have full NSW Workers Comp Insurances and $20 million Public and Products Liability insurances. Our business is registered for NSW Payroll Tax, and our permanent employees are White Construction Card holders and CBus members.
